Posters
Posters are invited from graduate students, postdocs, faculty, relevant departments, local tech community, and industry. The general theme for the posters is as follows.
MAY 2
Nanomedicine and Bionanotechnology
LOCATION
National Center for Supercomputing Applications, Atrium, 1205 W. Clark Street, Urbana, IL
All posters should be put up on Thursday, May 2, between 7:30-10 a.m. and taken down on May 2 at 7:15 p.m. They may be taken down as early as 6:30 p.m.Each poster should have a representative on hand to explain the research. For posters #1-25, representatives should be available May 2 from 12:40-2 p.m., and for posters #26-50, representatives should be available 5:30-7 p.m.
MAY 3
Nanoelectronics / Nanophotonics / Nanomaterials / Nanomanufacturing
LOCATION
Micro and Nanotechnology Lab, Atrium, 208 N. Wright Street, Urbana, IL
All posters should be put up on Thursday, May 2, (for display on May 3) between 3:30-5 p.m. and taken down on May 3 from 1:30-3 p.m. For each poster, a representative should be on hand Friday, May 3, from 8-9 a.m. to explain the research. If necessary, the poster can be put up at 7:30 a.m. on May 3.
Poster Size
Maximum display area: 4 feet x 4 feet. Poster boards and thumb tacks will be available. (A limited number of easels are available on a first-come, first-served basis for any foam-mounted or framed posters.)
Submitting Posters
All poster titles should be submitted through the workshop registration website by Friday, April 26. Late registrations will be accepted on a limited basis.
Awards
Posters will be judged for awards. Award recipients will be announced and recognized at the concluding session on May 3 from 12:45-1:30 p.m.
